Sustainability threats

How it started

Stephen Hinton was working to implement a large SAP solution in Ericsson. Having once run his own company from a Macintosh he was struck by the possibilities a modern, integrated IT system could provide for entrepreneurs  intent on supporting sustainable development. However, to implement a new system in existing businesses often requires adapting the way you do business  if you are to get the best out of the system.

But the world is changing, and so is the nature of work itself. Sustainability is climbing to the top of everyone’s agenda. He realised that people need a framework within which to get started.

He invited Edwin Krzesinski, founder of a Swedish association of businessmen for the environment, to help challenge stake holders in regions to accelerate their work towards sustainability.

Later, Jane Arrowsmith joined to assist in marketing, new ways of working and the health and well-being aspects of AVBP.
